Avoidant attachment

Has Joseph ever spoke on attachment style? How do we navigate around this? My sp has DA attachment let’s say characteristics. I don’t know if I can unsee this in him. He goes hot and cold with me he reaches out makes plans and ghost me the next day. I don’t really know how to handle this besides going to the end and him not being that way. But I lack faith in him changing bc the circumstances are so real. Any insight.
